Thanks to Hands-On Learning teacher, Michael Myhal, for taking six secondary students from NSS and Lucerne to UBC-Okanagan in Kelowna this weekend where the students had a full day of learning more about computer coding.
Our SD 10 team was amongst the 100 students at the day long workshop where young people were matched with post-secondary and community mentors in computer science, electronics and engineering.
Global News footage shows our SD 10 students immersed in learning and features a short interview with their teacher.
