Education Restart Plan.

July 29, 2020

As a follow up to today’s announcement by Dr Bonnie Henry and Minister of Education Rob Fleming, School District 10 looks forward to welcoming back all of our learners on September 8, 2020 for another great year of learning. We had strong success in the month of June with 71% of our students returning to school. Enhanced cleaning, hand hygiene, physical distancing and outdoor learning were in place and will be strong parts of our health and safety protocols to ensure that students and staff remain safe.

Over the next weeks, our Educational and District Leadership teams will be meeting with our two Unions and the Board on the Stage 2 Restart plan. By August 26th, the specifics of the plan will be posted on the school district website and shared with all parents.

In the meantime, the new BC Centre for Disease Control/Provincial Health Office guidelines and the new Restart plan will be posted as they become available.
